How IQ Scout handles personal and business data.

Draft — pending legal review

This text describes how IQ Scout is built to handle data. The operator has not yet reviewed and published it; it is not a binding policy until then.

Data we process

  • Account data: your email address and language/time-zone preferences.
  • Organization data you enter: capital settings, opportunities, suppliers, documents and decisions.
  • Connected-source data (for example Amazon), only for the organization that authorized it.

Why

To provide the service to your organization: analysis, alerts and the audit trail of approvals. Not for advertising, and never sold.

Sharing

Data is visible only to members of your organization according to their permissions. Amazon data is never combined across organizations. Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) process data on the operator's behalf; the list will be published with this policy.

Security

Encrypted connections, per-organization access rules enforced by the database, provider credentials in an encrypted vault, and an audit log of significant changes.

Retention and deletion

Disconnecting a source deletes its stored credential at once. Owners can delete their organization and every user can delete their account in Settings; a receipt with counts and dates only is kept. How long technical records (logs, provider requests) are kept will be published with this policy.
